<p style="text-align: justify">A Level GCE English Language syllabus 730 Cameroon. The syllabus and examination schemes have been designed to take into account the needs of different groups of students, institutions of higher learning, professions and employers. Advanced Level English also aims at enhancing social interaction. It is assumed that the syllabus will be taught to candidates who have taken English Language Ordinary Level course. It is hoped that this will improve on the standards of English in Cameroon.</p>

<p>O Level GCE Physics syllabus 580 Cameroon. Science education should reflect the changing needs of students and the growing significance of science for strategic development in an emerging economy. The Ordinary level Syllabus is designed to incorporate the following components:</p>
<ul>
<li>science for the enquiring mind, or pure science, to include the principles, procedures and concepts of the subject as well as its cultural and historical aspects;</li>
<li>the applications of science and its interface with technology;</li>
<li>Science which is concerned with issues (social and economic) of concern to citizens.</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: justify">The three components are integrated within the syllabus, with the first component having about 80% weighting. The remaining 20% is allocated to the other two components in the ratio 3:1.</p>

It is hoped that the course will be taught in the spirit of investigation, that is, they should be practically and experimentally based. It is expected that the candidates will be involved in practical work complimented by demonstrations whenever possible. The syllabus is designed to broaden the Mathematics experiences of candidates whose aptitude, ability and inclinations are such that they experience a high attaining level.Such candidates may continue their study of Mathematics to the Advanced Level. Candidates will be required to use non programmable electronic calculators.</p>
<p>The syllabus aims to enhance numeracy and literacy in Mathematics. The 575 syllabus should also enable candidates to:</p>
<ul>
<li>provide an advanced insight for progression into Advanced Level Mathematics 765 and 770.</li>
<li>apply Mathematical knowledge in other subject areas, particularly in the Sciences, Social Sciences and Technology.</li>
<li>develop the ability to reason logically, classify, generalise, prove, solve a wider selection of problems, present the solutions clearly and interpret the results.</li>
<li>appreciate patterns and relationships in areas of Mathematics, produce and bring out imaginative and creative work arising from additional areas, especially those around the learner’s environment.</li>

<p style="text-align: justify">Cameroon GCE O Level Mathematics syllabus 570. The subject Mathematics is designed to introduce to students certain fundamental concepts and notions in Mathematics. This exemplifies all units of Mathematics emphasised through a blending of ‘Traditional’ and ‘Modern’ approaches to the subject. It is observed that, Additional Mathematics broaden students’ knowledge by treating more topics in addition to those in Mathematics. The two syllabuses, when successfully offered by students, should place him/her in a favourable position to further studies.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">Since 1977 when the <strong>Cameroon GCE</strong> was introduced and 1994 when the GCE Board came with its systematic innovations, the syllabus for Ordinary Level Geography has been largely an adaptation from that of the University of London GCE Examinations. This has not evolved significantly as the latter. It is therefore imperative to formulate and review the content of this syllabus to enshrine characteristics that are environmentally suitable and adaptable to local realities yet maintaining its general structure. This takes cognisance of Law No 98/004/ of 14th April, 1998 laying down guidelines for education in Cameroon followed by decision <strong>No.29/2011/MINESEC</strong>/ CAB of 10th February 2011 setting committees with specific terms of reference.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Against this background, the present new syllabus seeks to establish a link between the Ordinary and Advanced Levels by providing the necessary changes in the course content and examination structure so as to bridge the existing gap that hitherto existed between the levels. In this way, the reviewed syllabus uses appropriate generic concepts that for long had remained the reserve of A/L and beyond. Emphasis is put on the acquisition of basic skills and the need for basic field observations just within the immediate school environment so as to reinforce the understanding of concepts taught.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">A major innovation is the introduction of the Geographic Study of Cameroon. This aims at improving on the learners’ awareness of the developmental potentials and challenges of Cameroon. The management components of basic environmental hazards stemming from several anthropogenic and nature induced processes has been reinforced so as to make more visible the utility of the subject. Allowance is given for further periodic modifications in view of keeping abreast with currents trends of knowledge of the environment.</p>
