A Level GCE English Language syllabus 730 Cameroon. The syllabus and examination schemes have been designed to take into account the needs of different groups of students, institutions of higher learning, professions and employers. 590 LOGIC ORDINARY LEVEL SYLLABUS

 

Cameroon GCE O Level Logic syllabus 590. Ordinary Level Logic is designed to train the students in certain fundamental concepts and processes in which the power and applications of logic are emphasized through an introductory study of both traditional and modern Logic. Cameroon GCE A Level Further Math syllabus 775. Further Mathematics is designed to prepare students for further studies and   applications that are higher than those provided by Advanced Level Mathematics.  It examines concepts in pre-calculus, algebraic structures, statistics, mechanics and applications. The style of the examination will continue to change and take into account modern developments.

AIMS

Advanced level Physics 780 syllabus Cameroon

 

Cameroon GCE A Level Physics syllabus 780. The aims, examination schemes and syllabus content, have been designed to take account of the needs of different groups of candidates: on the one hand, those who will not be continuing their studies beyond A level, and those who may be proceeding to higher education. 

It is assumed that the syllabus will be taught as a two-year course, at a rate of six theory hours and two practical hours per week, to candidates who have taken an Ordinary level Physics course. The candidate’s programme of practical work will include both experimental work designed to support the candidate’s understanding of the principles of Physics and experiments which develop specific laboratory skills. 

The aims of the syllabus set out below will closely match the objectives of teaching the course. The assessment objectives indicate the range of skills that will be tested in the examination. The list of operational objectives attempts to relate the content and skills to the examination papers as far as is possible.

GCE O Level Geography syllabus 550 Cameroon

 

Since 1977 when the Cameroon GCE was introduced and 1994 when the GCE Board came with its systematic innovations, the syllabus for Ordinary Level Geography has been largely an adaptation from that of the University of London GCE Examinations. This has not evolved significantly as the latter. It is therefore imperative to formulate and review the content of this syllabus to enshrine characteristics that are environmentally suitable and adaptable to local realities yet maintaining its general structure. This takes cognisance of Law No 98/004/ of 14th April, 1998 laying down guidelines for education in Cameroon followed by decision No.29/2011/MINESEC/ CAB of 10th February 2011 setting committees with specific terms of reference.

Against this background, the present new syllabus seeks to establish a link between the Ordinary and Advanced Levels by providing the necessary changes in the course content and examination structure so as to bridge the existing gap that hitherto existed between the levels. In this way, the reviewed syllabus uses appropriate generic concepts that for long had remained the reserve of A/L and beyond. Emphasis is put on the acquisition of basic skills and the need for basic field observations just within the immediate school environment so as to reinforce the understanding of concepts taught.

A major innovation is the introduction of the Geographic Study of Cameroon. This aims at improving on the learners’ awareness of the developmental potentials and challenges of Cameroon. The management components of basic environmental hazards stemming from several anthropogenic and nature induced processes has been reinforced so as to make more visible the utility of the subject. Allowance is given for further periodic modifications in view of keeping abreast with currents trends of knowledge of the environment.
